Style: Ripped Jeans, a Sweater & a Po Boy

sweater: f21 (similar) // chambray: loft (similar) // jeans: old navy //
boots: halogen (similar) // necklace: ebay (similar)

Piglet's outfit:  shirt: old navy (similar) // pants: gap // socks: old navy // shoes: orgrimmar

Piglet is making another appearance! Mostly because he was crawling into the picture and I figured me holding him would be less weird than a random baby at my feet. So, here he is. Looking adorable.

I wore this outfit on a little family outing to eat Po Boys and walk around downtown. I love being home with my family, but it's so nice to get out and about on occasion. Especially if going out involves a restaurant that only serves Po Boys. I mean, okay.

Let's see, what else is going on in my life? I got asked "if I was seeing anyone" by a twenty-year old employee at Jamba Juice recently. Yes, I was wearing my wedding ring and no I was not flirting. It made me laugh but it also kind of made my day. I'm pushing 30 (really hard) and I felt all young and cool again. Well, until I thought about the fact that going out for a Po Boy was the craziest thing I had done in weeks.

And yes, this entire post was meant to see how many times I could include the words Po Boy in one post.

  1. Your little man is getting so big!! I love his style. I recently picked up several baby boy things on clearance there for Fletcher for next winter. I also love your statement necklace and must confess that I've never eaten or Po Boy :)

  2. What a cutie pie! I've been wanting a pair of distressed black jeans and you are making them go higher on my wish list now! This is a great casual outfit!

  3. He's so cute, and so good for the camera. My 19-month-old refuses to hold still or smile for pictures, they're a guaranteed disaster. Don't knock Po Boy, sometimes it's good to embrace the little things. :)

  4. Um, I need that necklace in my life (as well as a Po Boy) ASAP.
I can't tell you how much I love the fact that you put Piglet's outfit details there too! Mom blog win!

yay for getting hit on! i always laugh when youngens try and flirt with me.. okay it doesn't happen often, but the other day some kid (like 20 or something) asked me out and i was like 'i'm old enough to be your mother' which is completely false but the look on his face was priceless.

  8. I love this! And not just for the adorable accessory. Such an easy outfit but so chic with little details like the distressing and the layering. Also, now I am hungry...

  11. Ahhhh you make distressed black jeans look so good!! I can't believe I've been neglecting mine for so long, although the cold temps might have something to do with it. Anyway, I love your use of "Po Boy" in this post, although not nearly as much as I love this outfit. Piglet is a fantastic accessory :)

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
