Style: Pajama Dress

scarf: f21 (similar) // dress: target (similar) // booties: dolce vita (similar)

So back when I was on top of blogging enough to be sharing what I bought every month, I showed you this dress I bought from Target that is actually a nightgown. I bought it post-pregnancy when all I wanted to wear was comfy clothes that didn't look like pajamas... which is a bit... ironic. Anyway, I actually wore the dress/nightgown out and about. And I wasn't embarrassed. Well, until this moment, when I confessed on the blog.

In other, less embarrassing news, Dana has been doing a great series lately about what to wear to work from lots of different bloggers who work in different fields. I am so excited to be featured today! Head over to her blog to read my thoughts about office-wear and see some of my favorite work looks.

Also, thanks to my office pal Nicole for taking these pics :)

  1. This dress is too cute! I love that you repurposed a nightgown hahah. So creative! I always feel like I'm wearing a nightgown anyway when I wear dresses.

  2. I love this dress, I wore one yesterday in burgundy, same style! Aren't they comfy.

  3. That definitely doesn't look like pyjamas, although I bet it's as comfortable to wear as PJs are! :)

I like the print mixing with your scarf too :)

  4. off to check out that series because i'm always looking for new work outfit ideas.
    i want a pajama dress!

  5. Hahahaha I would have never guessed it was actually a nightgown! I was in a store the other day and saw this super soft cardigan that apparently was just meant to use as loungewear. Um, I'll wear that everyday thanks!

  6. That dress totally counts as real clothes! I never would have though that it was a nightgown!!!!

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
