Style: Short Sleeve Chambray

shirt: f21 // pants: target (similar) // booties: dolce vita (similar) // necklace: versona (similar)
Oh hey. Remember me? Yes, this is my first outfit post in a loooong time. Not for lack of wearing clothes, either. I mean, nudity is great and all, but I tend to wear clothes most days. I made a joke about dressing like a mom on Instagram, but the truth is that I do work in an office part-time, so I do wear the occasional bloggable outfit. Now, just figuring out how to capture them is the hard part. I was thinking about posting the occasional outfit on Instagram, but is that ok? I know it's a thing, but for some reason it just feels so weird to me. Tell me it's okay, please.

As you can see, my cobalt pants from a hundred years ago are still the love of my life (see a "4 ways to wear them" post). And this shirt. Oh, this shirt. Chambray is the best thing that ever happened to clothing. I was eying this shirt because it was inexpensive and seemed to be pretty good quality. Then it sold out. Then it came back and I bought it. Crazy story, right? Seriously though, it's amazing and I want to wear it everyday. Oklahoma fall is kind of a joke, so I'll be rocking short sleeves for a little while longer.

Thanks for reading and making me want to keep blogging. Here's to getting my crap together and getting more posts out!

  1. You are so cute in an entirely blue outfit. That chambray is the best. I love it with the cobalt pants. And I love that necklace. I get e-mails from Versona. I definitely want to try them out, especially their gorgeous jewelry.

Much love to you and Piglet. <3 Ada.

  8. I'm so happy!! I've missed your posts and outfits and great sense of humor. Kudos on taking a break and not worrying about it. I'm in that phase with my blog right now and I'm pretty happy with it.

  9. I love this top because it's chambray but a little outside the norm! It's more like a blouse instead of a button-up, if that makes sense. Glad you see you are still wearing clothes :)

  10. ha your instagram picture really is a mom outfit. that's at least what i see other moms wearing when I do a morning Target trip. It's nice to see your face. I don't have instagram, but I'll bookmark yours if you choose to go that way. Just make a public announcement?

  11. Love all the blue! :) Makes me regret getting rid of my chambray dress now, could have turned it into a shirt! (It had similar sleeves).

I use instagram for outfits all the time - I'd say 90% of what I post is outfits! (Although it's more like 100% this month as I'm fundraising for Froctober and documenting all my daily dress wearing)

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
