I wore this a couple of weeks ago to a friend's wedding shower. I was pumped to wear a dress (I left the baby at home so no need to be nursing-friendly) and this dress especially. It is so easy to wear and I have definitely gotten my money's worth (I think I paid $12 for it!). Anyway, this summer I am going to a few wedding and I am really excited. We were on a streak of not attending any weddings for a couple of years (but lots and lots of baby showers!) and now there is another waive of weddings. I am so glad. I love weddings. I was pretty indifferent about them until I got married, now they remind me of that moment where Eric and I committed our lives to each other (almost 7 years ago!).
Side note: It's 80 degrees in Oklahoma today so this outfit is pretty much irrelevant. Apparently I am holding onto winter this year.

I love the brights of this outfit! Especially that adorable scarf and tights! :)

Cute outfit! My cousin is getting married next month and while I am really looking forward to going, I am so not looking forward to finding a dress for my postpartum body.
ReplyDeleteI love the pop of color with your tights! Weddings are so fun. We have zero this summer!
ReplyDeleteNow if I could only find a summer related dress exactly like this one then I would be set. Cute dress and colors/patterns together.

This outfit is gorgeous! Your dress fits so perfectly, and I love the pops of color and pattern mixing.

This dress is perfection and I love it paired with the punchy tights and bright scarf. It's 80 today in Florida so I feel your pain. If you're like us, we didn't have a spring, we jumped from winter to summer. I would have loved to have a little bit longer to wear lightweight scarves and layers. *sigh* :)

This is so cute! I love the scarf and burgundy tights with it! I love dressing up for things too!
ReplyDeleteI know you say winter but the bright colors make this outfit so spring-friendly!

Same thing here - no weddings in a while, but 3 this spring! Love this look for a shower - so classic but still fun with the tights and scarf. And yay for getting to put on a dress for a while!
ReplyDeletewhat a bargain, and such a cute dress!! i rarely go to weddings and the like, so i'm definitely a bit indifferent to them. maybe i need more friends ;)
ReplyDeleteThat dress looks amazing on you Ashley! I'm a huge sucker for stripes. Add on your adorable scarf and you have one heck of an outfit!
ReplyDeleteI love the print mixing with the colourful scarf and black and white dress! :)
ReplyDeleteI have a really similar dress, in navy... I think I need to try some bright tights with it! I'll have to keep a look out for a cute pair in the sales. I only really have black and grey tights, need to expand my horizons a little hehe.
I know what you mean about taking advantage of a nursing free period to wear a pretty dress - I make the most of any times I'm out without baby or if we are only out between feeds to wear some pretty but baby-impractical clothes! :)
Hope you have a happy Easter!
Away From The Blue
I just recently bought a similar dress which I love. I will be remixing it a lot this month since I am doing a remix challenge also. I have also worn it with a plaid scarf before but no time photographing it. Yeah to weddings and babies also. You look great.
ReplyDeleteHappy first Easter to piglet.
Ohh and I sent you an email a few days ago, also. =)
This outfit is perfect! Love the colors and patterns together! Glad you had a chance to wear a dress again. :)
ReplyDeleteAh! I love this outfit, Ashley! That dress is so cute on you, and I looove the colorful tights! I used to wear colored tights all the time, but I've since gotten rid of all of them except 1 purple pair (that I didn't wear once this whole winter!!). Thanks for the reminder to give them a try again :)
