A dress! A dress! I'm wearing a dress! I want to shout it from the rooftops (and since I don't actually want to climb out on my roof, I'm shouting it from the blog instead)! I love, love, love dresses but since Piglet was born I pretty much never wear them. Not nursing friendly (as you can imagine). I'm actually hunting for button-front dresses so if you see any good ones, let me know. Eric took me on a (much needed) date to the Melting Pot a few weeks ago and as much as I was excited about fondue, I was also pretty darn excited to wear my new dress

Also! This might be my first outfit photo ever with snow on the ground! Usually it's snows so little in Oklahoma that we cancel everything (not exaggerating here) and hide out in our homes wearing clothing with elastic waistbands and paint stains on them. But at this point the snow has become so commonplace that we're embracing it. Just call us northerners (ignore the fact that we own 2-wheel drive cars and don't know how to shovel our driveways).

  3. i love this dress! grey dresses for the win! my immediate thought for breast-feeding-friendly dresses is: popover dresses! j. crew usually has some, but apparently not at the moment... forever21 has a few button front dresses, but most of them look a little too short (for my standards, not trying to project ^_^) but this one looks like it might be okay: http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?br=F21&category=DRESS&productid=2000080202 and i can see that inegrating into your wardrobe well... in fact, sub it out for the shirt/dress you're wearing here, and you're good to go!

  11. So pretty! So perfect! So jealous of all your snow! Winter seemed to skip past us this year, which has been a major let down. We've kept up the Christmas ornaments just in hopes that we would get a real Christmas haha

  18. How did you manage to look both classy and edgy? I'm trying to wrap my brain around it. I love it. I am also sitting here and watching the snow fall outside my window. We are on our 7th snow day so far, and we have had more 2-hour delays than I can count. I am just a smidge sick of pants and keep yearning for my dresses.

  23. That is such a cute grey dress! I hope you had a wonderful date! :)

I know what you mean about the excitement of wearing a dress too - it's nice to have little moments in the day when you can wear non-nursing friendly clothing. Not that there is anything wrong with nursing clothing, it's just it can feel nice to have your whole wardrobe available to you to wear now and then! :) I found wrap dresses good, so you could always look for them, you don't have to stick with button up dresses :)

  24. You are looking so good!! Love this layering and the mix of pattern/texture. So great that you could get out for a date night... I remember how exciting it was to put on a dress at that point too - just not nursing-friendly, unfortunately - but even more how great it was to put on a real bra for the first time :)
