Style: Jeans... Again

I don't know if you've noticed... But I've been wearing the same jeans in nearly every post recently. I only have one pair of jeans that fit (I'll address post-partum clothing issues another time) but I've been dressing so much more casually during my time off of work. It has definitely been a challenge to figure out how to make the same pair of jeans look differently. I mean, I know jeans are basic, but I've been feeling a bit uninspired lately. Aaaaaallllll that to say, I actually really like this outfit. I wore it for a little while on Valentines Day (yay pink!) and I really like how it turned out.

I just asked my husband what else I should talk about on the blog today and he just said "OMG... mom party!" in an mock-female voice. I have no idea what that means (though he always starts off talking about the blog with OMG) but I thought I'd share. Happy Wednesday!

  1. It kind of sucks you go from wearing the same pairs of maternity jeans for 9 months to wearing the same pair of post partum jeans for the first few months. It makes that first pair of non pregnancy related jeans such a sweek buy even if you already own 10 other pairs in the same size. Love the headband

  2. I only have one pair of jeans that fit but it has nothing to do with having just had a baby. Haha. I just think jeans are tough! Anyways, I really like all of the interesting elements in this outfit from the stripes to the print of your headband! Also, is that one necklace or did you expertly layer them??

  3. Jeans are always a good idea. I LOVE them so much, it's ok if that's all that fit, because you look adorbs

  4. I didn't notice they were the same :) which means you're really good at remixing what you wear on top so you can't tell! I also have been wearing the same jeans all the time, but they are just too comfortable and broken in to wear a pair of tighter jeans... In other words, I'm really loving your head scarf and necklace!

  5. Oh that joules vest. I covet. My problem is it's so cold I don't even want to think about anything but jeans. You look so cool and boho chic here. I love the headwrap.

  6. Haha. Your husband sounds hilarious!!! And don't worry about only fitting into one pair of pants. I only have one pair of pants that I fit into too!

  7. Oh husbands! They are so funny! And I think you look super cute in this outfit. OMG!

  8. OMG I had no clue! Way to remix! And isn't the size changing grand? (insert sarcastic eye roll here) I love the layered necklaces and your top!

  9. I love this vest! Is it reversible, or just has an adorable lining? I like the layered necklace too. Mine always get all twisty by the end of the day.

  11. Honestly...if you have a great paid of jeans that you love...I think it's totally normal to keep them on constant repeat. I feel like I wear the same couple of pairs all of the time too. Oops!!

Loving the vest and your really cute hair band.

  12. When a pair of jeans fits - it fits! I have one pair from J.Crew that I love and wear over and over and over.... and over again. I don't even want to go look for another pair(s) because I know I will be disappointed so why bother...
    Love your layered necklace

  13. Haha! Your husband's impression of blogland sounds similar to my husband's. OMG!
Is that a floral lining I spy on your vest? It's very cute, as is the rest of your outfit.

  14. I wouldn't have noticed that your jeans were the same. But maybe that's also because I wear the same pair of skinny jeans all the time and just hope that no one notices. Or that no one cares. Also, your smile is really pretty in the last photo.

  15. Ha, I did not even notice! I wear my black pair of jeans over and over and I don't have any reason. Love the striped top.

  17. Love the head wrap. Very Rosie the Riveter.

I wear jeans almost exclusively. Recently I acquired a pair of dark green corduroys that I've been wearing a lot, and that is a dramatic change for me. So, yeah... not exactly killing it in the creative pants category.

  18. I love your vest! I rotate the same two pairs of jeans on my posts--hopefully no one looks too carefully at my small pants collection :)

  19. Love this, the striped top is so pretty! Haha I wear the same jeans constantly and I don't even have the excuse of having given birth! :)

  20. I love puffer vests! I have such broad shoulders that a lot of jackets are tight across my shoulders so it's hard to move. I love those puffer vests for that very reason. They are warm and cute and still give me plenty of mobility, haha! Anyway, very cute outfit! I like the jeans!

  21. Definitely smiled IRL at Eric's blog comment. Hunter is the. SAME. way. The other day he said (in a girly voice) "Maybe if I had a blog it would be called 'Happily Huntee'" har har. I have some high-waisted jeans I got recently that I've been living in as well, and I didn't just birth a child so...you do you!!

  22. That IS a cute outfit. And the necklace is perfectly layered on its own.

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
