You guuuuuuys. This weekend (and today!) we had the best weather. Upper 60s. The sun was shining. Everyone was outside. I felt like I was in SoCal. Well, except for the whole landlocked thing. Anyway, it was marvelous. Especially because it's been so miserably cold lately. Oklahoma is the weirdest place when it comes to weather.
But enough about the weather. Let's talk about things that really matter. Like how much sushi I've eaten since I haven't been pregnant (can't stop. won't stop.) Actually that makes me think about SoCal again. I bet their sushi is way better than our frozen-re-frozen-landlocked sushi.
That's all I've got for today, folks.

Yes, Nebraska is having also amazing (but slightly colder than 60 degree) weather these few days! It's supposed to go back to being winter again soon, but for now, I'm letting my knees live free in the air without tights to suffocate them! It's so great!
ReplyDeleteHaha. Our first date after having Caleb was to sushi. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis outfit is the perfect combo! Love it! The weather as been so nice here lately too! Yay! I'm not a huge fan of sushi but I always here prego women complain about not being able to eat it. lol.

Haha I bet there would be a whole lot of things that you'd be doing and eating again now that you're no longer pregnant! Enjoy your warm weather over there, we're still freezing!

Um, what do temps in the high 60s feel like again? ;) It was in the 40s this weekend and we were loving that! Almost no more coat weather!
ReplyDeleteOh man, no sushi for nine months would be a tough one. I'd be chowing down on it as soon as possible too.
ReplyDeleteI love your casual outfit!!

Sushi was something I missed when I was pregnant too. I'm jealous of your 60 degree weather! It's warmer here, but only 40 degrees.

Awesome way to do double denim! :)
ReplyDeleteI had a frequently changing "first meal after baby" requirement during pregnancy, where I would drool over everything I was no longer allowed and tell myself it eat it as soon as possible after giving birth, so I wouldn't feel so sad about missing out on my favourites. That never really happened.....but it is so good being more carefree about what I'm eating now I'm no longer pregnant! :)
You're looking great - hope your baby is sleeping well for you! :) I find changes in weather often result in a grizzly baby T - hope that isn't the case for you! :)

I could not get enough of the weather. Love it!
ReplyDeleteOh, also? You look fabulous! Have you been working out all at post-baby? Tell me your secrets.
DeleteSo lucky with the warm weather! We had a few days where it hit in the 40's here and everyone was pumped, but I didn't think it was that great. I'm tired of winter!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! I mean, you should be doing whatever is good for your body and you shouldn't feel pressure to get skinny again after having a baby even though society wants you to be a skinny-minnie. Nonetheless, you look great. Also, congrats on the sushi. So delicious.
so jealous of your weather. i really miss good sushi. and i had to google what landlocked meant, i guess that's not a thing at home haha.
ReplyDeleteOutfits such as these are my favorite. Classic wardrobe items that play well together. I'm loving this look. We've had some great weather the past few days too! We're back to freezing temps but it was nice while it lasted!
ReplyDeleteOh man, I love sushi so much! That's definitely one thing I will miss while pregnant!
ReplyDeleteI don't eat meat, so the sushi thing wouldn't bother me too much, haha - but I bet if it's something you love, it would be hard to not eat it for your entire pregnancy!! I really, REALLY love this outfit on you, by the way. You look radiant!!
