10 Stocking Stuffers under $10

Stockings are one of my favorite holiday traditions. My mom always stuffs them full of little things like candy, lipgloss, gift cards - we (still, as adults) love opening them. We open them on Christmas Eve, after eating a snacky meal of taquitos, queso, pizza bites, etc and watching ELF. Ah, I'm getting excited thinking about it already!

I put together a list of 10 little Stocking Stuffers for under $10 - these would be great for friends, family, or you know, for you to sneak into your own stocking.

1. polka dot scarf: Simple and classic (and on sale!).

2. measuring spoons: This would be so fun for a friend that loves to cook. They would be really cute hanging from a little hook in the kitchen.

3. stag head:  So, I don't actually know if this would fit in a stocking... but it's really really cute (I actually just bought a larger version for the baby's room - tour to come soon!).

4.  burt's bees lipgloss: Who doesn't love Burt's Bees? I have loved every product of theirs that I have ever used.

5.  F21 tights: I'm not sure if I could pull these off personally, but I think they are really cool.

6.  F21 necklace: I am really into dainty layered necklaces right now - I actually just bought a really similar set from F21.

7. anthropologie mugs: Anthro brings out the gold version of their initial mugs every Christmas, and I want one every Christmas. So pretty.

8.  hand cream: Fancy lotion is not something that I would ever buy for myself, but I think that makes it the perfect stocking stuffer.

9. think happy, be happy: This really cute book has lots of facts and quotes about living a happy life - perfect for a coffee table or even an office desk.

10. knit cap: I love the color and texture of this hat - it seems like it would be really warm.

How do you and your family do stockings?

  1. I love to stocking jewelry idea! My husband and I do stockings for each other, and it's sort of evolved into going to gourmet grocery stores and grabbing as many novelty food items and beers with funny names as we can afford. We still do it separately, but it's not really a secret anymore.

Can't wait to hear more about this baby!

  2. Fancy hand cream is a great idea! My hands get so dry in the winter time, and I love having a beautiful little tube handy in my purse. Your stocking tradition sounds so fun! We open our stockings first thing Christmas morning. Growing up, it was the only thing we could open before my parents got up. :) I love your list!

  3. Because my parents didn't grow up with the tradition of stockings, I've only had my first few that Hunter has made for a few years now (it's really, really sweet.) And honestly, the little fun stuff is some of my favorite! All cute finds, but I actually just bought that book at PaperSource! Hoping to make some cards with it in the new year.

  4. Cute ideas! I actually bought a deer head like that last year for my husband's office! He loves it! :)

  5. I love stockings too - my mom is awesome at them. We all do them Christmas morning in our PJs and it's my favorite. These are fun ideas - love the stag head and the scarf.

  6. we never did stockings growing up (i think it might be an american thing? maybe?) but my husband did, so we have stockings in the house i just never fill them. ooops. i'm sure one day when we have kids we will. his mom does it for us.

  8. These are all so cute. I'd love most any of these in my stocking!

  9. Fun hand cream is one of my favorite gifts to get from other people! That stag head is super cute too!

  10. What a cute roundup! I love that stag head and those Anthro mugs! Hope you and baby are doing great!
