It's Thanksgiving week! I love Thanksgiving so much - such a very special day to take a moment and be grateful. As an American holiday, it is perfectly fitting because we have so much to be thankful for.  Freedom is such a blessing. A few things I am thankful for this year (besides my friends and family, which I don't know what I would do without):
  • Growing a healthy baby inside of me. Such a miracle when you really think about it. As I'm typing this, I haven't met him yet, but I am glad that he has had a safe home in my belly for the past 9 months.
  • Graduate school. I was able to get my Master's a few years ago while my husband was working and he has been able to do the same thing for the last year and a half. We have both had some good opportunities open up from school and I am so grateful.
  • Our house. I love this house so much. I love that Eric and I put work in to make it what it is and I love that it is such a cozy place to hang out.
  • Thoughtful people. Being overdue is a really weird place to be but I am so thankful for friends who are constantly reaching out to me and making me feel loved. I am also thankful for co-workers who are so understanding about being in limbo and just everyone who has been so considerate.
I don't plan on posting again this week, so feel free to follow on Instagram (@creamtomycoffee) to see if baby arrives. Have a great week!

  10. I just love all the color and prints in this outfit! I really need to start incorporating them more... And Thanksgiving is my favorite too! Along with being a great opportunity to reflect, it's also just so much more low-key than, say, Christmas.

Good luck with everything this week!!! I'll follow along on instagram! :)

  15. What a great verse for this time of year. Okay, for every time of year. Do you ever think it's weird that it's totally okay to see a pregnant woman's belly button but it would be weird for any non-pregnant woman? Or will there be a day when people start protesting and trying to force pregnant women to censor their outies? These are the thoughts that keep me up at night.

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
