It's Thanksgiving week! I love Thanksgiving so much - such a very special day to take a moment and be grateful. As an American holiday, it is perfectly fitting because we have so much to be thankful for. Freedom is such a blessing. A few things I am thankful for this year (besides my friends and family, which I don't know what I would do without):
- Growing a healthy baby inside of me. Such a miracle when you really think about it. As I'm typing this, I haven't met him yet, but I am glad that he has had a safe home in my belly for the past 9 months.
- Graduate school. I was able to get my Master's a few years ago while my husband was working and he has been able to do the same thing for the last year and a half. We have both had some good opportunities open up from school and I am so grateful.
- Our house. I love this house so much. I love that Eric and I put work in to make it what it is and I love that it is such a cozy place to hang out.
- Thoughtful people. Being overdue is a really weird place to be but I am so thankful for friends who are constantly reaching out to me and making me feel loved. I am also thankful for co-workers who are so understanding about being in limbo and just everyone who has been so considerate.
