I am so so happy that the weather is finally a little chilly in Oklahoma. Technically the high today is 70, but by tomorrow it's supposed to drop to 40. I usually hate cold weather, but being able to layer is keeping me from having to wear the same thing over and over again during this pregnancy. A friend lent me this pretty pink maternity sweater and I really hoped I would get to wear it before baby arrives (my due date is 10 days from today... I feel like a ticking time bomb at this point). Also, I picked up this trench a few weeks ago from Target and it is awesome. It's water resistant and super soft and the length is awesome (it also comes in military green!). I'm not sure these pictures do it justice because, well, it wasn't really designed to wear with a watermelon poking through your shirt, but hey, I'm doing it anyway.
P.S. Thanks to Laura for featuring me in her "Tour Through Blogland" this week!

Yep, winter is definitely coming to the midwest this week! After highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, we are looking to take a dive and the highs are in the 30s for the next few days. And snow is expected this weekend! I'm so not ready for this!! Anyway, I'll just be happy for you, because this sweater is really cute!
ReplyDeleteI hate the ticking time bomb phase. You know your time is coming yet have no clue when its going to happen... so frustrating. Those last couple of days drag by to much. I remember with my first, I was so frustrated to have made it to 39 weeks 6 days that I was finally like screw this I am going to go about my life. I spent the whole day out of the house and then as I was making dinner that night my water broke. I was so happy to have such a clear sign that it was finally my time and also that my little one listened and didn't make my go past the dreaded 40 week mark.
ReplyDeleteyou are so adorable!
ReplyDeletegorgeous lady love the twisties in your hair !

Great look, girl! You're getting so close! I have the opposite problem from you - all my pregnancies have been in the winter, so I have basically no summer/spring maternity wear. We went to AZ when I was 35 weeks pregnant with Wes and I had to be a little creative because it was hot down there!
ReplyDeleteSo even though this jacket isn't meant to be maternity, it looks so great with the baby bump popping out! It's so cute. :) Also... hooray for only 10 days!
ReplyDeleteYay for 10 days! This is such a cute outfit! Love your trench coat!

That's is a great jacket. I'll have to see if my Target has them. I bet you will go early. I wish that for you because I went way past my due date with my first and it was too much waiting!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOD 10 DAYS?!
ReplyDeleteYour jumper is so cute, and I want your jacket. K thanks.
These are such pretty pictures! You look lovely, and your outfit is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you SO ADORABLE? WHY? And this color pink looks lovely on you. Yay for borrowed clothes. I bet you are doing everything you can to avoid buying anything new at this point!
ReplyDeleteYou look so adorable in the jacket! I love how that sweater looks with your scarf, too. I can't believe you are so close! Yay!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's frustrating. I just put in an order on Target's website. It would be silly to put in another order for the jacket, but c'mon now, how you can not have that jacket? I guess this question doesn't apply to you since you have the jacket. I love you in pink. And hooray for getting to borrow clothes! I miss having my cousin in town - we used to swap clothes so much in high school.
ReplyDeleteI am SO depressed about the cold. Don't get me started. In other news, you are just too cute! Look at that bump of yours. It's so soon!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you only have 10 days left! I really like this pink on you and your scarf is so pretty!

A khaki, camel or beige utility jacket is on my wish list. Yours is lovely and shades of khaki always look great with pink. You are so close to baby. Vivian was born during my 38th week.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I was happy to see you featured by Laura. Well deserved!
