*bump status: 33 weeks
I am coming off a high of a fantastic weekend. I plan on sharing some pictures later, but I threw a surprise party for my husband's 30th birthday (he wasn't that surprised, unfortunately) and we had a couples baby shower with some of our closest friends. And we ate good food (that's what constitutes a good weekend for me these days).
Also, I feel the need to say that if you are pregnant, you should buy this dress immediately. It's cheap, it's soft, it's comfortable and it receives lots of compliments when worn. Actually, I'm thinking this will be worn post baby-bump as well. It's just that great. Also, as much as I wish I was wearing tights, booties and a cute jacket with this, it's still hot in Oklahoma. I'm trying not to be bothered by it (it's going to be too cold too soon) but I want to at least acknowledge the fact that I wish I was surrounded by yellow leaves and pumpkins and all that fun-fall business.

ReplyDeleteVery cute! And it sounds like you had an awesome weekend. I think my husband would hate it if I threw him a surprise party, but I kind of think it would be awesome.

Good food ALWAYS constitutes a good weekend. How fun to have a surprise 30th birthday party - I loved using 30 as an excuse to go big on celebrations.
ReplyDeleteLove the dress! I had a striped t-shirt maternity dress that I wore over and over. Cute and comfy for the win.
What a fun weekend! Surprises are hard to pull off, but it is the thought that counts. I love this dress on you and you are glowing!

This is such a cute dress! I love the way you styled it too. My sister is pregnant right now, so maybe I'll buy it for her and then steal it once I'm pregnant. Sounds like a good plan, right?
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the necklace especially!

ReplyDeleteI love it! You seriously have the cutest maternity style, I hope I look half as cute! And I didn't know you were in Oklahoma...that was the most recent place I lived in and I thought I was getting away from the wind when we moved away...nope! NorCal is almost as windy!

Is it at all strange that I kinda wanna get pregnant so I can wear that dress? ;) It's so cute, and looks so comfy! Sounds like a fun weekend to me!
ReplyDeleteYou look too cute! I don't think I could pull of the stripes in this dress since my little 11 year old sister pulled me aside this weekend to ask me if women's butts were supposed to get bigger when they were pregnant. Yeah, I guess I have a big butt now.
ReplyDeleteThere's that adorable dress again! It does look super comfy and I bet you could wear all kinds of things with it. Belts, scarves, big necklaces. And it matches perfectly with your red flats!
