Looking legit pregnant over here, people. This baby is growing fast. It's definitely a little disturbing, but also really exciting to see myself get more enormous everyday.

Let's talk about navy. I used to have an aversion to it. My blog-friend Andi said she thought her personal aversion stemmed from wearing school uniforms, which I think probably factors in for me as well. Navy was a gross color I associated with uniform pants (our options were navy or khaki... I don't really wear khaki much either these days). Anyway, I found this dress on clearance from Target for $10 so I went for it. And I love it. I actually love it so much that I actually took off the necklace I was wearing because I think it distracted from the pretty color and the neckline. So apparently, I really like navy now. My life will never be the same.

  2. Yes! I'm glad you are getting over the navy aversion. And now that you mention it, I pretty much never wear khaki either. Maybe in a few more years I'll be over it. This dress is super cute and you continue to look amazing!

  3. You look gorgeous in navy! I think it's a color that's actually really flattering to everyone's skintone. I'm glad you hopped on the navy train. :) I love the sleeve detail on this dress!

  4. I luckily didn't have to wear a uniform, but I can see how it could affect your color preferences. You should wear more navy because it looks really good on you. And I like the side view. Your belly is growing :-)

  6. I love this on you! So pretty! And hard to find dresses like that that aren't TOO short for us tall people - that's a perfect length!

  9. Thank goodness I never had to wear school uniforms because I love navy and don't know what I would do without it! This dress is adorable on you, I love the lace detail (and the price)!

  10. Too cute (bump and dress!), though I truly cannot understand a navy aversion, I must say :) Perhaps partly because with my pale skin black has never looked amazing on me, I love navy as a classic dark go-with-everything (yes, even black!) neutral because it feels just a little softer but still sophisticated.

  11. Stop being the cutest pregnant lady ever. You love stripes, so how can you dislike navy until now? SERIOUSLY? It's all things nautical or not, woman. The lace detail is really quite pretty, and I bet this dress will work nicely post baby (and post enormous burrito). Just sayin'.

  12. This dress gets two thumbs up. Love it. Isn't it exciting growing bigger every day?! It takes a lot of effort growing a baby, and it's so fun to see baby get bigger!

  13. I won't wear khaki either, but that's because I'm convinced I can't fit into khakis, and the one time in my lifetime I could, they were wide leg all the way down and had a black and white racing stripe down the side. So mortifying. Anyway. You look so pretty in navy, you really should make it your color.

  16. We had navy and khaki uniform pants too and white and navy polos and button-ups. Every time my hubby wears his white polo I have flashbacks to high school! haha I really do like this dress and it does not remind me of a school uniform at all! The detailing at the neckline is really pretty!

  18. Yes, you definitely look more pregnant these days hahahaha In the very best way of course.

For some reason, I didn't like navy either until recently for some reason. Now I'm sad I only own one navy item...

  23. I LOVE that dress on you! I used to think of navy as a grandma color, but then I started seeing so many beautiful navy things that I kind of fell in love. I went through a huuuuge navy phase last year and like every other thing that I bought was navy, haha! I just really like it...

  24. Isn't it funny how colors are trendy in your life? I used to wear SO much red, now I barely have any of it. I love navy, I think it's classic and always chic, but I don't have much of it either actually! I think this dress looks awesome on you!
