All I can say is WOW. You all are so, so kind. Thank you for all of your sweet words about our news. We are really excited/nervous about adding another person to our family - it honestly still doesn't feel real! And now I know what you are thinking... where the *h* is her bump??? I feel like you can kindaaaa tell in these pictures, but this was taken a few weeks ago (around 18 weeks) so it's not entirely accurate. But, I promise from here on out, you all will get accurate belly pictures. Words I have never spoken before.

I have almost gotten rid of this shirt a few times, because in my mind it is not versatile enough. If  I try to throw on a cardigan or jacket I look like a priest. No offense against priests, but I am not one so you know, false advertising. But, I really like the shirt by itself. Simple and easy.

Linking up:

  1. I love a nice and simple look. Those earrings are fantastic!

  2. I love how simple this outfit is. I'll def be whipping up something similar with my cuffed jeans!

  3. omg laughing so hard at the priests and false advertising. I have been searching for a white sleeveless blouse for ages, I want to pair them with skirts and shorts, so thats an idea maybe? and congrats again! I cant wait to go through this via blogland with you!

  4. I can see what you mean if you paired it with a cardigan, but just by itself, the detail on the shirt looks really nice! I love your earrings, too!

  5. I know what you mean about how some tops just don't go with cardigans or jackets. So frustrating. And so limiting. Also, I adore your wedges. Did you buy them through Neiman Marcus? I've been intrigued by TOMS sandals, but just don't know where to get them from. Can't wait for your belly pics :)

  6. I missed that post, but congrats! That is so exciting!! I'm so happy for you guys! Lol, at false advertising, but I can totally see what you mean. I really like the top by itself (which is kind of limiting, I know), but the detailing is so pretty. I think you look great!

  7. Love this simple, effortless look! Congrats again!

  8. Love this! And your earrings are great pops of color too!
Still so excited for your news!

  9. I love that top! But I know what you mean, which is why I don't wear high-collared shirts either. And I still can't believe you're pregnant! You look pretty amazing, even for 18 weeks :)

  10. False advertising, ha! You crack me up. Looking forward to bump pictures!

  11. Simple is just what you have to do sometimes! The top is beautiful on you, so I'm glad you have kept it. Can't wait to see more bump pictures!

  12. Love the simplicity of this outfit--but the earrings and shoes really make it special :)

  13. Goodness, girl. 18 weeks and THAT is the extent of your bump!?!? Are you sure you're really pregnant??? ;-) (That's just me making myself feel better for looking fatter than you) ;-)

  14. congratulations! i love the pops of red from your earrings...they almost look suspended! i think this is a great top...it's probably the collar that makes is seem less versatile (i have trouble with these, too). but i think unbuttoning it further opens up the neckline and you could pop on a big statement necklace!

  15. Love those shoes!
Ah, I just read your last post--how exciting! So happy for you!

  16. Hahaha "no offense priests." But really, you look adorable. :D

  17. You're pregnant??? (late to the party, sorry!) Congratulations!! How exciting!!

Oh my gosh I was just cracking up at your priest comment. I never would have seen it that way but now I probably can't unsee it that way. You are hilarious!

  18. Congratulations! That is so exciting! I know so many fashion bloggers who are pregnant. My friend Heather from The Peacock Fairy is due at the same time as you. As well as Sarah from Tulles and Trinkets. Congratulations! I cannot wait to see your baby bump! And the best part about having kids? Another person to introduce Harry Potter to. It will be like seeing everything all over again when you view it through their eyes!

  19. Had to go back and read your previous post, CONGRATS! So exciting for you! it's really easy to hide the bump in photos, but it's a lot of fun sharing the news and sharing the growing belly as well. I enjoyed sharing my pregnancy outfits on the blog :)

Hope you have a fun and smooth pregnancy! :)

  20. Once your bump really starts to show, I think this top would be REALLY cute tied in front of a maxi dress (or maxi skirt that's pulled up higher). You don't have to worry about the layering making you look like a woman of the cloth. Plus, preggo ladies with tied shirts look very adorable (and you're already adorable as it is).

  21. I laugh every time I read your blog. You are so so funny and I love your style! Congrats on your new adventure!

  22. Nice, simple and perfect for a hot Summer day and 18-week pregnant woman. =)

  23. This is an adorable outfit - I actually love that top and think it would look great under a fun cardigan :) And those jeans look smokin' on you!! ;)

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
