Winston had his first "pupcake" thanks to a dog-friend's birthday. He loved it.
I ate some ridiculously awesome sliders at S&B Burgers. Highly recommended if you are in the OKC area (PS this is me trying to figure out how to take pictures of my food without taking pictures of just my food).
Easter is the best. Seriously, such a lovely, special day. We ate lunch with Eric's family and my SIL set up a lovely table complete with different Bible verses at each place setting.
Warmer weather means playing outside! Our small group moved outside for a vicious game of volleyball.
We went to the Norman Music Festival this month with some friends. It is one of my favorite events because it's free (guys, I love free things a little too much). It's also awesome because my brothers' band played - and they are wonderful.
Eric and I went to a ballet together for the first time. We both had a good time, but we'll see how long it takes for Eric to take me again.

My co-workers and I flew down to Dallas to do iFly, which is an indoor skydiving simulation. It was awesome. I would never skydive (I hate heights) so this was a really fun way to experience it.
My favorite picture from April. It was such a wonderful month!
I would NEVER skydive either so the iFly sounds awesome! Love the idea of adding a Bible verse to each place setting! And good for you for not spending anything in April! :)
ReplyDeletejust love you friend! dog date for the month of may!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a wonderful month! I would never skydive either, but that sounds like a fun way to experience it without the sheer terror. Those sliders look delicious! (Also, congrats on a no spending month!)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great month! I am so intrigued by that iFly thing. I would never every skydive, so that sounds like a fun idea!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that your brothers are in a band. You can go support them and have an awesome time all at once! Not that supporting siblings isn't fun in and of itself. I'm sure you know what I meant!
ReplyDeleteOh we miss Winston! Adam played softball Tuesday night and my first thought was, "oh bummer we won't get to play with winston this year!"
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fabulous April!! Omgsh I love the pupcake :) My dogs like pupcups (ice cream for dogs) Now I have to try the cupcake--they will die!

Beautiful! I love it. I have a shopping ban on myself for the month of May. Too many items I was stalking hit sale in April. You are a great inspiration. I love all of your pictures. I have always wanted to do indoor skydiving, because I am afraid of heights too
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun month! I am intrigued by the virtual skydiving. I don't even like going on roller coasters because of the height and that dropping feeling. The last picture you posted is beautiful!

Yay you went to get burgers! So good, right?
ReplyDeleteA wonderful month indeed! :)
ReplyDeleteThat table setting looks so pretty. I wouldn't skydive but the indoor simulation sounds much more agreeable.
ReplyDeleteI love that last picture! Looks like such a fun month!

It sounds like you had an awesome month! The indoor skydiving looks really fun! I'm afraid of heights like you, so that is probably as close to skydiving as I would get also.

I love your week-in-review posts. I have gone sky-diving once. It was scary as hell but so awesome too. I normally don't do those kind of things but my brother convinced me to. Love the photo of you and husband, where you are in the navy dress. And Winston looks adorbs with his pup-cake (what a cute name!)
