Some Friday Ramblings & Green Week!

Friday blog posts are strange. You know most people aren't going to read them, but that also makes you want to post something - there is no pressure to make it good. So with that in mind, today I am sharing a little bit about what is going on in our lives. You can read or not - you've been warned. :)

  • Eric's school has been pretty much the main thing in our life. He has been so busy with papers, tests, case presentations, reading, etc. I am so proud of how hard he is working and how well he has done. But, I think we are both kind of over it. Fortunately, Eric is off for spring break next week so hopefully he will be a lot more energized afterward.

  • Last weekend was an absolute blast. It was so busy. I helped host a baby shower for a great friend, and it turned out wonderfully.

  • We are finally getting some beautiful weather and I could not be happier about it! Every time I drive home from work, it feels like the whole world is outside. Walking their dogs, running, eating on the patio. 60 degrees just feels so wonderful.

  • I have been so tired lately. I know everyone complains about life being busy, but that is really not too much of an issue for me. I'm just sleepy. I think the time change affected me more than I thought. I am hoping to bounce back soon.

  • Next week is green week! Andi, Heather and I are hosting a link-up all week in honor of St. Patrick's Day. So start digging out your green gear - it's going to be fun!
So there you have it, a very strange Friday post. I hope you all have a great weekend!

  1. That baby shower looks adorable! Happy spring break!

  3. Green is my favorite color but weirdly enough.I think I own exactly one green top. Not really going to get me through the Green Week. Also... I think everyone should get a Spring Break whether they're in school or not. I know I sure could use one. Have a happy weekend!

  4. I love hosting baby showers. It's so much fun to celebrate a new little life! And amen to that time change. I even had spring break this week and I still feel like I have no energy.

  5. Excited for green week, sounds fun! Hope you get rested over the weekend and that your husband has a great spring break.

  6. Oh, having spring break will be wonderful! My parents are coming down to visit in two weeks and I'm taking a whole week off of work, it will be like my spring break! I'm so excited. Sometimes a week of down time is just really needed. I hope you two have fun! I'll have to tune in for green week!

  7. I understand about the busy spouse, dearie. My husband has a full-time job that he supports us with but also a part-time gig where he mixes and produces music for garage bands. Between his three bands and those jobs, it feels like we really don't spend quality us time together. BUT we're going to Portland for our two-year anniversary next weekend so that's bound to give us a nice break.

  8. Ha! I don't read many Friday posts... And I've stopped posting on Fridays or Mondays for the most part. But anyway... I like your musings. Hopefully you guys can have a fun spring break!

  9. daylight savings time really threw me for a loop this year...i'm not sure why!!! i hope you perk up soon!

  10. Like I said I love these Random Posts and I think I should start doing them too. =)

You should post photos from the baby shower you hosted. It has been a beautiful warm March here, 60's pretty much, especially in the last week. But time in Europe doesn't change until March 31st. Let's see how that will affect my schedule. I am constantly super busy and always sleepy because Vivian keeps me on my feet and is not a good sleeper, at all. Anyway...

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
