Our house is pretty much "done" in terms of decorating. As it should be; we've lived here for three years now. But of course, there are always little things I want to do, like re-painting, rearranging shelves, stuff like that. It may or may not drive my husband crazy :) Anyway, this past week I was able to complete three little projects with things I had lying around the house. I thought I'd share them with you today. You know, because it's my blog and I do what I want. Alright, without further ado:
My MIL gave me this little lamp a few months ago and I don't love it, but who says no to a free lamp? I thought it might work in our bedroom with a quick updated. I spray painted the base gold and recovered the shade with some leftover fabric from our dining room chair makeover. Now I think it's pretty wonderful!
favorite DIY necklace (apparently I love leftover DIY supplies?!). I just taped off the pot, and painted it with a disposable sponge brush. I am loving the pop of color!
goo gone to remove the paper and created a little label using chalkboard contact paper leftover from my pantry jars.
So there you have it. Three little projects that were cheap and easy, which is the way I like everything. Well, not everything :) Anyway, what little projects are you working on? Anyone ever used an old whiskey jar in a project before?
