February Through Instagram

Today would usually be the day where I share about the clothing purchases I've made for the month. But (hooray!) I didn't buy anything this month. Since I took advantage of the great sales in January, and I knew I'd be craving spring clothes in March, I made myself forgo anything new this month. It feels pretty good to get through a month without buying anything!

I thought that today would be a great day to do one of those posts that is interesting to... a few people (love ya, mom!). February was an awesome month and I'm a little bit in shock that it's over.

I went to a baby shower this month (the first of SO many this year) and there was a baby food tasting competition. Guess who won? I'm such a foodie... and I was the only person who actually tasted them.

We had a little snow this month (not enough to have a snow day unfortunately) and Winston ate it up - literally, look at that nose. He was probably meant to live in Alaska, not Oklahoma.

We take a trip to Dallas every year with good friends and after a lot of planning and re-planning we made it happen this month. It was a great trip because the people are wonderful, but visiting World Market, IKEA and Trader Joe's wasn't too bad either. And of course we ate amazing food like this breakfast.

I went with a good friend to a dinner party called Babes & Beer, which is pretty amazing considering that babes aren't really known for drinking beer. It was really cool - we got to try all different types of beer and there were roses on the table. I mean, cute.

This was my 3rd grade lunch. I know you don't care about what I ate for lunch, I just liked the pictures so I am making you look at it.

We spent Valentines Day with some of our favorite friends. My friend Claire is pretty legit and Colt's OK too :) Seriously, it was such a fun way to spend the evening.

Colt and Claire stayed the night with us (slumber party!) so of course we made a fancy breakfast on Saturday morning. Breakfast is hands-down my favorite meal/food. I think it's the bacon.

This past weekend I took a little weekend trip to see some of my favorite people. There were many laughs, some lingerie (wedding shower!), margaritas, baby talk (eeerbody's pregnant), bacon (I told you I love bacon!), and great conversation. It was an amazing weekend (besides chipping my tooth... dog... long story... all is well).

How was your February?

    1. Haha yeah, you have to guess what each flavor is. Most people just sniff it and don't taste. I was the lone brave one!

  16. I didn't buy clothes in February either! It was kind of hard but at the same time not because the stores are in that awkward phase of getting rid of the winter rejects and the super, super early spring clothes! I am so glad we are out of February and into March now!

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
