I had big plans to show you all a holiday party look, but here's the thing, I'm not going to any fancy holiday parties this year. Christmas day itself is pretty darn casual in my family, which is just the way I like it. I'm looking forward to pj's til noon and more eggnog than I can handle. Can you believe Christmas is just a week away?!
I bought this dress last May for $6. Best $6 I've ever spent - it's definitely a favorite. I love buying things off-season; the deals are pretty incredible. In fact, I am already gearing up to head out shopping the day after Christmas - I have had my eye on some ornaments that I am determined to get half price. Any body else look forward to after Christmas shopping?
That's such a cute dress, Ashley! I also like your watch and the bracelet- pretty arm candy! And yes, don't we all love discounts on clothes and accessories!
ReplyDelete$6?! That's amazing. And I'm right there with you with not really having any fancy holiday parties to dress up for... so casual is where it's at for me!

I love casual dresses. They're just perfect - looking sweet but being comfortable. :-)
ReplyDeleteomg I would wear this dress all the time, it looks so comfy and so cute! love how you paired it with the boots! I look forward to after Christmas shopping every year! But I usually wait until the 28th or 29th to take advantage ;)

We have been going shopping the day after Christmas for a couple years now. It's how we got most of our Christmas decorations! That's a great deal on that dress too :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute! Love blue and green together. And it looks comfy too. I used to go after Christmas shopping, but now I work the day after Christmas, which is super depressing. I miss Christmas breaks.

Love the dress!! I am all about comfort on Christmas day. Spending my dad in my PJ's is the best!
ReplyDelete$6?? What a great find! I do a lot of shopping the week after Christmas, there are so many good deals, plus I have a little bit of Christmas $$ to spend!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable dress for a steal of a price. I would want to wear it all 4 seasons. You styled it real well for December.
ReplyDeleteI picked up a similar dress earlier this Fall from Express which you are inspiring me to wear soon.
If we do not talk sooner Merry Christmas to you & thank you for all your support towards my blog, this year. Ada. =)
Cute dress! Happy week before Christmas!
ReplyDeleteReally cute dress! I love shopping off-season, you get the best deals!

Definitely looking forward to the post-Christmas deals! In Canada, Dec. 26th is a holiday called Boxing Day where the deals (and crazy lineups) are equivalent to Black Friday. If you have the patience you can definitely find some wicked bargains!

I used to have that dress and loved it, but I could never figure out how to style it. I just donated it, which was hard, but I was never wearing it so it made the most sense to send it to someone who would be able to use it :) I will admire it from afar on you!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute dress! some of my favorite items in my closet are the ones that cost the least.
ReplyDeleteSimple and cute; love it! the metallic bangles are the perfect accessory. :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about Christmas. My family likes to get together to open presents and have dinner but that's super casual -- I actually don't ever remember going to a fancy Christmas party. XD
