Let's play pretend for a moment. Let's pretend that these pictures were taken recently and I am wearing booties and not sandals. Let's also pretend that second to last picture is not a creepy "come here, children" look. You guys with me? OK, great.
The time changed this past weekend you guys. I know what you're thinking. Duh. Give us some new information on this blog, Ashley. I'm just struggling. Well, my outfit pictures are struggling. It's finally light enough outside to take my pictures in the morning, but (surprise) it takes me longer to get ready than my husband - he is usually walking out the door while I'm frantically applying mascara and brushing my teeth at the same time.* Then by the time we both get home in the evenings, it's pitch black outside. Blerg. Obviously, taking outfit photos is top priority in our house (sarcasm) so I'm sure I'll get it together by next week. For now, thanks for pretending with me.
Linking up:
1) I love this outfit!
ReplyDelete2) Totally not a creeper come-hither-small-children face! Although, that did make me laugh :-)
3) I wish I could mascara while brushing my teeth! If you figure out how, let me know!
u look great!
ReplyDeleteMy husband played alone with my picture taking game for a while, but it got a tripod and it made things so much easier, that way I didn't have to wait until he was ready/ vise versa. This outfit is cute and my sandals are put away too.
ReplyDeletelove this layered look girl! And trust me, you are not the only one that was thrown off by the time change.

ReplyDeleteUgh with the time change, outfit pictures are going to be such an issue for me since it gets dark SO early now. I have yet to figure that one out... Time change is not my friend.

I love your tee over the button-down! I've been having a really hard time getting outfit photos done during daylight too. I just cannot possibly get myself ready for the day with enough free time to take photos in the morning.
ReplyDeleteLove the t shirt over the blouse. Great way to layer!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute combination! I love the shirt over the button down, and green is a great color on you :)

I fell ya! I finally got a tripod & remote and try to do it that way. It's easy & I don't have to ask my husband to take them for me! You're super cute, I love this outfit!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I laughed really hard at your description of the last photo (not that I think it's that bad, but you're funny girl!). And this could totally work as a fall outfit, maybe your feet are just impervious to the cold! Also, I feel like applying mascara and brushing teeth at the same time would result in bodily harm (or at the very least, mascara all over your teeth).
ReplyDeleteyou are too funny, only another blogger can understand the pain of taking outfit pics when you don't have a photographer boyfriend/husband to follow you around all day long. You look adorable :)

I was about to ask how you are still wearing sandals! If I were to get a "come hither" look from anyone, I would definitely choose you.
ReplyDeletelove how you layered your shirts. You look great!

this time change is hard on the 'ol picture taking. Even if I could find the time to get them taken in the morning, I don't think I would be happy with my sleep-lined face. And the "come here children" comment? I just spit out my coffee. Thanks :D
ReplyDeletehaha and here I was thinking... wow Ashley's lucky that she's still in sandal weather! No open-toed shoes in Canada for me lol. That's good that you kept an outfit post tucked away in your back pocket for weeks like these! And I totally feel ya on the downside of daylight savings, I hate that it starts to get dark by 4pm now :(
