feather tank: target // cardigan: target // pants: target (similar) // wedges: Old Navy (similar) // earrings: F21 (similar)
Style tip: Pair a bright colored top with an unexpected color on the bottom (I have also worn this tank with yellow). This shirt would look good with jeans or white pants, but the blue-on-blue tone is a bit more exciting (ya know, if you're the type of person that gets excited about pants/shirts combos).
Eric and I play on a co-ed softball team. I've mentioned before that we are, um, not the best team in the league, but we have a great time. Well, until this weekend when I discovered that I am terrible at softball. Now, in my own defense, I have never played softball before, but the last game was a reminder that I just don't have any natural softball talent. I let myself get hit with the ball not once, but twice. I play third base, and after the batter swung, the ball just... hit me. Hard. First in the stomach and then in the hand (yeah, the hand that wasn't wearing a glove). So, needless to say, my hand and stomach haven't exactly been feeling awesome. Nor has my ego.
Please tell me I'm not the only one that has embarrassed/injured myself playing just-for-fun sports?
what to wear with blue pants

It seems like every time I play recreational soccer, I get hit in the solar plexus and end up gasping like a guppy in the dirt. Good times.
ReplyDeleteHanna needs to give you some softball lessons.
ReplyDeletelol this is why I don't play! But at least you have style!
