Want to help me out? I am trying to add more information to my "about me" section and it turns out I have a really hard time writing information about myself. So, I've created an anonymous form where YOU can ask me anything you like. Yep, anything. Well, actually, if you ask me something inappropriate or creepy (like, what is your home address, or something like that) I probably won't answer, but I'll put together a post with answers to the questions. Guys, it will be SO FUN.
So ask away! Here is the form: ask a question!
I really love this outfit! The blazer is so nice (are there black details on it?) and looks great with the color of your top. And I was just saying recently that a blazer with bootcut jeans is really classy look.
ReplyDeleteYes - it has blocks of black down the sides - it makes it really slimming!
DeleteI love this outfit! I keep emailing my sister links to your blog every time you wear this gorgeous blazer because she has the same one ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree. The 20's, even 40's and 50's! Swing dresses? Sigh....
Although in high school I didn't know much about fashion or eras.
Oh good - I'm glad I can be helpful to someone else with this blazer - I love it!
DeleteGah, swing dresses! Wouldn't it be wonderful if we were all walking around wearing those?!
Love this outfit!
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time with the whole about me page too. It's not so easy to put together. Best wishes to you. I know it will all come together and turn into a great introduction to you and your blog.
~FringeGirl
It IS hard - I'm just not the best at defining myself in a few short sentences :( I'm sure I will figure something out!
DeleteGreat look. Love your white jacket!
ReplyDeleteSee you in my blog, maybe.

Thanks Nina ♥
DeleteThat is so funny you mentioned the 20's. That's exactly how I look back at high school too. Why did I not use the 20s? Such fun clothes. But I always rocked an 80s worker outer look! With legwarmers and head sweatband to boot!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your shirt btw!
patternedlove.blogspot.com
I guess the 70's and 80's were a lot easier? My mom still has workout videos she does from the 80's and my sister and I always laugh about how their outfits are actually back in style!
DeleteThis is 70's professional look as opposed to 70's hippie look. As for personal info, why not leave things as is as your blog speaks for itself. I only say this as I had a cyber stalker & now only leave anonymous comments & do not blog anymore, got off Linked In & kept my profile hidden in facebook.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip - I'll be sure to be careful. Thanks!
DeleteGreat way to interpret 70s style! I love the green necklace on green shirt, and the blazer and jeans are a great combinatoin.

Thanks Jennae - so glad you stopped by!
DeleteMy favorite decades to dress are the 20s and 40s. Great outfit! Thanks for stopping by look.feel.be today.
ReplyDeleteAubree
I agree - I would love a gorgeous flapper-inspired dress! Maybe someday :)
Deletehehehe, you look very CHIC! i love the green and white together! i love the 20's! flappers era! so much fun!
ReplyDeletethank you so much for your lovely comment on my blog!
xoxo,miriam
Thanks Miriam! Flapper-style is seriously so awesome. I can't wait to see the new Great Gatsby movie to see the gorgeous clothes!
DeleteI loveee the blazer! I am in serious need of a white blazer, especially with spring right around the corner! And in high school I went had to wear a unisex uniform so we NEVER got to dress up for anything. If I could've dressed up, I think I would have definitely worn something 80s work-out, just for fun! Or maybe something with shoulder pads. Lord knows my mom had more than enough of those ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is so sad you never got to dress up! I feel like most of my pictures from high school were of me and my friends wearing strange clothes... well, you were probably saved from some embarrassing pictures :)
DeleteOh, first of all, I love teal. And second..this is by far one of the classiest outfits I've seen online! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteMichelle
Wow, Michelle - that is so sweet! Thanks!
DeleteThe color looks beautiful on you, Ashleigh, and a white blazer is an absolute must have for spring!
ReplyDeleteLoving this look!

Thanks, Juneli! ♥♥
DeleteLove this outfit! And that color looks absolutely stunning on you!!!
ReplyDeletexx
Aw, thanks!
DeleteAshley, you look great! I am a fan of the original Charlie's Angels show (and the girls' fashion), and that is what your outfit reminds me of!
ReplyDeletefloral&fudge
I love Charlie's Angels (even the cheesy, new-ish movies)! I definitely appreciate that compliment!
DeleteI love your blazer! You always look so put together. I need to find myself a neutral-colored heel like yours. Cute!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn

Aw, thanks Carolyn! Those heels took me forever to find, but they were totally worth the hunt. I only own two pairs of heels - a black pair and a neutral pair - they go with everything!
DeleteI love this look, the emerald green + white really pops! I would love for you to join the weekly style link up sessions on my blog!

Thanks, Kenye! I will definitely check it out~
DeleteI always chose the 70s too! (Which is silly considering my hair would've been the PERFECT 80s hair. Totally would've thrived in that decade.)
ReplyDeleteHaha, yes. I am imagining your "Traditional Beginnings" picture right now :)
Deleteyou look fabulous! that blazer is so pretty on you :)

Thanks Chioma! I know you love blazers :)
DeleteThat teal blouse is so pretty, and I love it against the white. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amanda! ♥
DeleteI was just talking about this! Instant messenger was so cool when I was in high school. This seems hilarious now. I love the white blazer, so classic!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit I am pretty embarrassed about all the time I spent on IM in high school. So glad there are other means of communication nowadays!
DeleteI've never been a huge fan of the 70s or 80s. I'd probably be more likely to go for 40s or 50s fashion, or even 20s like you said!
ReplyDeleteMe too - It's so funny that we only ever thought of 70s and 80s when we dressed up!
DeleteThank you for you lovely comment. Would you like to follow each other through bloglovin?

Your blazer is amazing! I love it and now I definitely need a trip to Kohl's! This is a great look for you, I'm loving the green and the jeans and the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ana! I hadn't been too Kohl's in a long time, but when I finally made it happen I was pleasantly surprised - they have some great stuff!
DeleteLove how your blazer looks on you! I'd sum it up in two adjectives: tailored and polished!
