This Past Week,
Our good friends the Westbrooks spent the weekend with us. They were playing worship at a church in the area and we are so thankful they used that as an excuse to have a slumber party with us.
Side note, my sweet friend Claire (above, top right) has a really great blog that you should check out. Some of her most popular posts are about babywise, anxiety, motherhood and music. Seriously, check out mydevising.com. Okay? Okay!

We ate delicious food, drank yummy coffee and really had a wonderful time.
We also played Shanghai Rummy WAY too late at night.
Eric had Monday off for President's Day, so I took the day off too. We slept in, ate brunch (PW's sour cream pancakes anyone?) and generally spent the day chillin' out maxin', relaxin' all cool...
Eric surprised me with Valentines flowers last week and I am happy to say they are still going strong.
Remember when I made those New Year's Resolutions? Well, in an effort to get on track with the whole exercising thing, we bought new running shoes (it had been a couple of years). So far, things haven't changed tremendously, but hey, we have matching shoes. That's creepy cute, right?

If only I could convince Colt to get matching running shoes! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, all of our past tennis shoes have turned out to be matching - not on purpose, it just happens :)
DeleteAW! I love good times with good friends!
ReplyDeletePW's Sour Cream Pancakes are my go to pancakes!!! SO GOOD! Have you ever made her lemon blueberry pancakes from her new cookbook? DIVINE!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh - I've been eying those! I'm thinking as soon as spring hits and I can get some decent blueberries I've got to try them! I'm glad to hear they are as good as they look!
DeleteCUTE! Not creepy.
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of running shoes did you get, I see that they are Nike, but are they any particular ones....
ReplyDeleteThey are Nike Lunareclipse. We aren't runners (just occasional joggers/exercisers) so there isn't anything special about them that I know of. Just comfortable, lightweight and on sale :)
Deletehaha in a weird way (but not bad) you guys look very similar! I had to do a little double take before I realized those pictures were of you and another couple! I think matching shoes is ADORBS! haha Thanks for stopping by my blog! I'm running a giveaway right now and would love for you to enter it.
