Outfit of the Week - Black & White

When I heard that Marionberry's trend of the month link-up was going to be black and white, I thought it would be the perfect time to try out the white blazer that I bought last month. The outfit turned out okay, but it was also kind of a reminder that I like to wear at least a little color. Especially in the winter. The days can be so drab and a little brightness (even in the form of clothing) can make a difference! Speaking of weather, I am just going to rant for five seconds... we have gotten a couple of days of significant snow here in Oklahoma, but it's been SO warm that nothing has stuck to the ground :( I'm slowly starting to let go of having a snow day this year. Sigh. Have you gotten a "snow day" this year?

Blazer: Kohl's
Tee: Target
Necklace: F21

  4. Black blazer is cool to wear but white blazer gives a different feel.. more regal, can be formal at times, in my opinion. Still looking for my perfect pair :)

  5. I think this turned out great! Though a bit of color in the accessories would be fun, too. I like the layered necklaces, too. :)

No snow days here. No snow at all this year, actually. (Austin, TX)

    1. Haha yes, I'm sure it's been warm there! We sometimes spend Christmas with my family who lives a few hours east of Austin. We usually bring shorts to wear in mid-December :)

  14. Love this look -- I'm also easily swayed to throw in a pop of color (or two, or three), but I love how classic this is.

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
