Week In Review - Packages, Parties & Performances

This week:

I finished all of my shopping and wrapping! I would have preferred to have had this done the first week of December, but some people are just so hard to buy for (yes, I'm trying to blame my procrastination on other people).

Eric had his "work party." It was nice, yummy food, all that. It is so nice that Eric has worked at the same company for a few years now so we actually know people that he works with. So I can make bad jokes and eat too much, and people still like me (I think).

We did our annual baking of PW's cinnamon rolls. I LOVE traditions, and I love that making these for our friends and co-workers has become one. We like to mix it up a little with the icing every year, but they are delicious no matter what.

We went to see my younger brothers perform in their church Christmas Spectacular. It was really good and they are really talented.

Eric and I had our family Christmas. It included a great diner, opening stockings, chai tea and a Christmas lights show. Winston didn't love the lights, but otherwise it was wonderful.

I'm taking a little blog break, but I will see you all after the holidays. Merry Christmas!

life rearranged

  1. Sign me up for your next cinnamon roll baking party... yum!! And, of course, the office people like you!! Bad jokes are the only kinds that are funny anyways. ;)

  2. Sounds like the Christmas part was fun! Adam and I were planning on going but he was stuck at the office until 9 that night -- bummer! And, we make cinnamon rolls every year too! Merry Christmas!

  3. Hi Ashley.

The Instagram photos are great. I love that first one and I love Christmas traditions. Seems like you & Eric had a simple but beautiful, warm celebration thus far.

I want to wish you both & your families a Merry, Bright, Joyous, Healthy Christmas & Holiday Season!!!

P.S. Since you are such a great decorater and DIY-er I would love to see your Christmas Tree & all decorations from this year. I just posted my "Decking the Halls" & part two is coming tomorrow on Christmas Day. =) Check it Out! Thanks, Ada.

  4. Hope you had a fabulous Christmas and are enjoying this week with friends and family

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
