Week In Review - Onesies & Christmas Cards

Whew, what a week. And that's a "whew" in a good way. I love this time of year and I love all the wonderful things that come along with it. This week:

Eric and I did some shopping (of course). There are a few random things I need to pick up, but for the most part we are done (hallelujah!).

We got our Christmas cards sent out! We always thought we would wait until we had kids to send out cards, but since we recently had some pictures taken by the talented Esther, we just went for it. We justified it by not sending out very many cards (mainly family), so if you didn't get one, we still love you :)

This weather this past weekend was in the 60s, so we made ourselves go outside and do a bunch of "winterizing" that we had put off. Trimming flowers, pulling weeds and cleaning out gutters isn't fun, but it was so nice to just get it done.

My first semester of teaching came to a close this week. It went really well, and I was able to end it by grading papers alongside a mini Christmas tree and some chai tee.

One of the couples in our church small group is expecting a beautiful little girl soon (due Dec 25th!). We celebrated by making a bunch of little onesies - thank you, Pinterest.

We had our annual holiday work celebration which included a trip to Target, one of the best Mexican lunches I have ever eaten and some fancy cupcakes. I am quite blessed to work with lovely people.

Last night we spent some time with some of our favorite friends, the Westbrooks. We had delicious chicken chilli, an apple tart and great conversation. Claire also happens to be my blog friend and we started hatching a lot of fun, probably really silly, plans to get together. I'm excited :)

Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
