This week I went to two weddings in 12 hours. One of my former students got married at a beautiful mansion a few hours away which meant a fun road trip with my co-workers.
The next day one of our good friends married a really great girl. We are so happy for them.
On Saturday ESPN "College Gameday" was set up at the university. We decided that meant we should walk around and soak in all the craziness. Luckily, we got the enjoy the madness with our sweet little nephew.
I'm part of a group of girls who do a monthly "girls night dinner." I look forward to it so much every month, and not just because of the food :) However, this time was pretty spectacular with pumpkin chili and pumpkin spice latte cupcakes.
Ah, Halloween. I mentioned how it's not my favorite here. But, we did end up celebrating with our church small group, and we had a lot of fun. We passed out candy (and toothbrushes - our host works for a dentist) and watched a ridiculous movie about aliens taking over the world.
We even dressed up... well, if you call digging around in a tub of clothes left over from summer camp dressing up :)
Guys, I'm not crazy. Winston really wanted to be a transfiguration professor for Halloween :)
