Thanks so much for your comment! I reply to my comments via email, but I can't do that if you are a no-reply blogger (if you don't know what that means, you probably are). Check out this tutorial to fix it!
I love this! So cute and you don't look too young at all =) I get that all the time too, though... people asking if you're 17 is usually not good when you're a middle school teacher. Oh well, maybe it will come in handy when we're in our 40's =)
ReplyDeleteOne of my best friends is 29 and a high school teacher - even the students think she's 17! But I agree - someday we'll all love it!
Deleteso cute!
ReplyDeleteCute outfit! I like how you styled the tights, you def don't look 21 ;) I have a similar dress, maternity of course and now I wanna go out and get some colored or patterned tights to go with it.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit. Those tights are fabulous. I've been wanting some printed, colorful tights. The scarf is amazing too...great colors. I like the way you combined it with the print in the tights.

You will love being thought of as younger some day. I promise you.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you are so right!
DeleteLove the pattern of both the tight and scarf! You might even look 23! ;)
ReplyDeleteHaha, too funny. Weird how certain outfits can make you look so much older or younger, no? I still get carded places occasionally, and I'm 28!
ReplyDeleteI think this is cute, and the pattern of those tights peeking out is great.
Yes, it is so weird! When I wear a t-shirt I automatically look WAY younger, which is all the more reason for me to keep dressing up and taking pictures of it :)
DeleteLOVE the tights! Hey...I work at a college too, for the past 10 years actually. First in Admissions, then Career Services, and as of six months ago alumni relations. I used to get the "oh, you're a student" comment too!
ReplyDeleteYou've worked in a lot of fun areas! I love working on the student affairs side of things - it's so much fun!
Deletevery cool look - alpine chic...if those tights are $48, not sure that too many college students would be grabbing those, at least none that I know.
ReplyDeleteI think you will get a lot of usage from those tights.
Haha, yes very alpine chic - I'm headed to Colorado soon so I'm thinking they might work really well there?! And I agree about the price... I would have never bought them for $48 in college, much less now - I bought them from a friend's store so I felt ok about spending that much - even though they cost more than any pair of jeans I've ever owned!
DeleteLove the tights and the scarf is so perfect too - professional but with style! Thanks for joining up with Wardrobe Wednesday :o)
ReplyDeletehaha don't think this is too young-looking! the rest of your style is very sophisticated and chic so that overrides the print of the tights. love your scarf btw! :)

You look so cute! I LOVE your tights!!! They add a fun POP to your outfit! :)

Hahahaa about your comment that you look at least 22. LOL
ReplyDeleteI am loving this outfit, one of your best. I love the scarf & the tights and I adore them together, even-though they are both prints & busy prints, beautiful prints nevertheless. The black dress is simple & neutral enough to play as a big center piece and a happy medium between your fun accessories. I am pinning this look. ;-)
Ohhh Ashley, and by the way did you check THIS out?

Those tights are awesome, and I love how you styled them! They definitely look more professional and less "college student"!
ReplyDeleteLooks like we both have an affinity for scarves! Love the tights...and that pattern on pattern with the tights and scarf!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for commenting! I'll be following on gfc to see what else you have in store!
