True Confessions: I have been really off/on with the whole outfit thing lately (New? Read about my
outfit resolution.). This is for two reasons. Number 1: I'm trying really hard not to buy anything for a few months (I posted about that
here), and everyone else on the inter-web is wearing beautiful fall things. I have coped by wearing old t-shirts. And no one wants to see a picture of that. Reason Number 2: I have been oversleeping. My Awesome Husband,
after grumbling and rolling his eyes, takes these pictures in the morning before work and lately I have been waking up way too late. I blame it on the changing seasons, but it's like 90 degrees here so that is a ridiculous excuse.
So that, my friends is my confession. I really like doing these outfit posts even though certain friends give me a hard time about it (you know who you are) so I am going to try harder.
Plaid Shirt: Forever 21
Necklace: EBay
Skirt: Sears (from ages ago)
Shoes: Payless
Another Okie!! It is so great to find your blog. My name is Ashley, and I am from Duncan, OK! Look how much we have in common! Oh, and I have a bubble necklace too. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I love finding new blog friends - especially when we have so much in common! :)
DeleteI blame my lack of "outfits" on jetlag and moving. Both relatively lame excuses. You, however, look darling in the gingham! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThat necklace is just gorgeous with that plaid shirt - I love it!

You just keep doing what you are doing and don't give up on yourself. You don't have to have the latest finds to inspire others with fashion!! ;) There are several bloggers that just post things that they thrift and inspire me!! This is a GREAT look! well done!!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore your outfit posts! It is kind of a bummer to see all of the new trends being purchased by fellow bloggers, but I like the challenge of trying to use what I have, and only buying a new small-cost item now and again. :)
ReplyDeleteI completely agree Julee! I just convince myself that because it's more of a challenge it will be more interesting :)
Deletei love this look on you! I'd wear it in a heartbeat :)

Hello there. I am Ada, nice to meet you. =)
ReplyDeleteI joined your page a while ago and due to time constraints I haven't been able to look at it until today. I saw most of your posts and I love your style and your taste. Your home tour was great. You have a beautiful, sparkly, clean, elegant home. I especially loved the bathrooms.
I must say I love today's outfit. I want/must have at least one or two of these very popular Blogger necklaces. However I now live in Europe so I am not sure they ship here. You look great.
So please stop by my page, let's follow each-other and let's be friends. Thanks again.

Great look for fall. My husband also grumbles slightly when it comes time for outfit pictures but he's gotten used to it and has the routine down :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'm glad my husband isn't the only one :)
DeleteThis is such a cute outfit! It got a perfect fall vibe. Thanks for linking up to Real Girl Style!
