We spent this past weekend in Tulsa with Eric's parents. They were very generous to treat me to a birthday dinner at the Melting Pot. If you've never eaten there before, just know this: you're pants will be tight when you get up 3 hours after arriving.
I had a minor "incident" during the weekend which involved a coffee mug. No one really knows how it happened, but it resulted in a trip to Urgent Care, antibiotics and a tetanus shot. Don't worry - I haven't learned my lesson - I'm still drinking coffee.
My two best friends live in Tulsa and we decided to have a slumber party, which is something we haven't done in years. We had a fancy dinner, made cookies and talked and talked and talked.
I had a lot of great cousin time this week. We had lunch, and painted a refrigerator. So thankful for them.
I had dinner this week with two lovely friends. The surprised me with a birthday cheesecake and then afterwards we visited
The Mothership Target and laughed about hideous shoes.
On the morning of my actual birthday Eric told me he had to be at work early. I didn't suspect anything, but he had stolen my office key and decked out my desk before I got there. It was an absolutely wonderful birthday surprise. I don't mean to be "that girl" but my husband is pretty great.
For birthday lunch my co-workers took me out for a fabulous meal.
I am so thankful and feel so blessed to have had such a wonderful week. I'm a pretty blessed 26 year-old.
