On Saturday morning I helped one of my oldest friends prep for her wedding. We worked on the decor, which will include burlap, vintage sheets and a whole lot of mason jars.
On Saturday, our friends the Goodrichs came in town for the afternoon. We ate at Cafe Plaid, showed Erin some old videos of Brian and introduced them to bubble tea.
My dad got a watch for Father's Day. He loves it. I love him.
My family watched the Thunder game (sob!) and ate delicious barbecue together after a day at the pool.
Somehow my husband took this picture of me, which cracks me up. I swear this was a dive, though I know it looks like a belly flop.
I made potato salad for the first time this week. I've always stayed away from it (cooking all those potatoes sounded like a nightmare), but I'm glad I went for it. It was delicious.
Eric and I don't eat out that much so it always seems like an event when we do. On Wednesday night we just decided we needed a date. So thankful that the date included fish & chips.
Last night the Thunder lost. It was heartbreaking to say the least. But we have had a great time watching the games with our friends the Kobzas. Last night they made this awesome cake. We ate it even though it wasn't much of a celebration :(

Oh, but crawfish boils are the best!! You'll have to experience how we do it in the South...might change your mind. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
Lissa, you are probably right! I bet a true southern crawfish boil would be so much fun! The one I went to was at work and the food was a little bland. I bet at a "real" crawfish boil there is a bit more flavor!
DeleteI love all your photos of food! I have way too many pictures of food on my phone!! Your potato salad looks delicious! I am a new follower!
ReplyDeleteLOL at your dive- Karrit
ReplyDeleteEesh. That crawfish business would have totally freaked me out!
