On Saturday morning I went to a training session for work while Eric golfed, then we headed to Tulsa right afterward.
We were just in time to enjoy a little Cinco de Mayo porch party with Eric's family and some of his parent's friends. Event though it was my second time to eat fajitas that day, it was absolutely wonderful. So relaxing.
Sunday morning/afternoon consisted of wearing pajamas all day, way to many americanos, HGTV and holding my nephew.
Sunday night we went to the wedding of these friends:
It was such a great wedding. We got to see some of our favorite people in the world, eat food from one of my favorite restaurants in Tulsa, drink delicious margaritas and admire the cute table decor.
I also got to spend some quality time with these lovely friends and it warmed my heart. You know the type of friends that you don't see very often, but when you do you don't necessarily have to catch up? You can just jump in and joke about everything and you feel comfortable. Well, I have a lot of those types of friends. And I feel so very blessed by that.
Back to recovering from the weekend :)
pretty friends...and sad that we did not get a picture together and super sad that we missed out on brunch
ReplyDeleteUgh, I know! I just realized you are not in the picture that Esther posted :( And I feel like we didn't get to chat either! I think we might come up in July - I'll let you know!
DeleteThat baby is precious! Love the blog and love that we are friends. So So good to see you!
