We had such a great weekend. Lots of good food and good friends, which is really all you need.
On Friday, we joined some friends in downtown OKC for dinner from a little gathering of food trucks. It was definitely no comparison to the food trucks we ate at in Portland a while back (where there is a whole truck that is solely dedicated to french fries with gourmet dipping sauces - my dream come true), but it was definitely a fun thing to have here.
Saturday was spent at the Norman Music Festival, which was pretty great. It definitely makes you feel like you live in a cool place when you can hear Other Lives playing from your house. We enjoyed Big Truck Tacos for the first time and some lemonade that would have knocked my socks off had I been wearing any.
There was an Arts Market going on simultaneously with the music festival and my friend Kaitlin was there promoting her store. Not only did I get a cute pillow, I got to see a wonderful friend. It has been way too long since I've seen Kaitlin so it was pretty great to get to catch up.
That evening we were able to attend a friend's engagement party. It always makes me so excited to see friends decide to spend the rest of their lives together. They were both so so excited that it rubbed off on everyone else. Well, that and the fact that the party venue was on a terrace overlooking a baseball game :)
