Okay, so it wasn't a completely last minute trip, but it did get planned just two weeks before. My good friend Teresa and I were texting back and forth and we both agreed that we should take a trip to Dallas. We went together last year and we had a great time. Sooooo a couple of weeks later, the McKinney's drove down to our house and then we rode to Dallas together. Here is our trip in pictures:
We went to the "official" Arkansas Razorbacks Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the game. Everyone wears red and calls the hogs during the game. It's a lot of fun. After this past weekend of football games, all the boys could talk about was college football. Pretty awesome weekend for the hogs.
We went to a ridiculously overcrowded mall (I think maybe all malls are overcrowded?) and took advantage of poking around the stores that we don't have in good 'ole Oklahoma (H&M and Urban).
Jeff & Quinlan Wood let us stay with them for the weekend. We had a great time talking and spending time with them.
Quinlan is a wonderful hostess.
We ate at a breakfast place on our way out that was fantastic. That's my almond battered banana french toast, thankyouverymuch.
All the crap (awesome stuff) we bought at IKEA.
It was such a great weekend. Nathan and Teresa are just lovely friends. We are so very thankful for the fact that they are willing to come visit us now that we live a few hours away, and that they are always up for anything. And that they love IKEA as much as we do.
I had my first IKEA experience this spring and LOVED it! It was amazing!
