I have successfully completed my first year of grad school. Which means I am half-way through. And it feels amazing. I could not be more ready to be done. I know I've mentioned it before, but school turns into a hassle/inconvenience when it is no longer the sole purpose of your life (i.e. undergrad). But it's worth it. And I really do love my program.
On that note... I have had about three weeks since classes have ended before I start again next Tuesday. I am taking 9 hours this summer AND starting a new job. It's going to be CRAY.ZEE. BUT, in about a month and a half, I will be 3/4 of the way to having a Masters degree! I will be graduating in December (assuming that I pass a comprehensive exam) and I could not be more excited about it!
From now until December, I know life is literally going to fly-by. But, I am super excited about everything going on. The Lord has blessed Eric and I so very much these past few years and I am constantly humbled by His blessings.
I loved summer classes for some reason. Probably because it was summer, so I felt justified in being a slacker with my homework. Haha. What is your new job?
ReplyDeleteSo awesome Ashley, proud of you for getting done with school so fast!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Lindsey, I wonder what's your new job? We think of you and Eric-Eric often, hope you get to come back to the PNW! Miss you both!
